Choose Your System: Soaking, Air Bath, or Whirlpool?

There are a lot of bath systems offered. With a soaking tub there isn't a system or jets. You can add a recirculating pump and heater to a soaking tub for a tub that will not lose water temperature for as long as it is on. You can have air jets for a light skin caress or water jets that provide a deep tissue massage. Or have a combination tub that uses multiple systems.
• Soaking Bathtub - No Jets
• Heated Soaking - Recirculating Pump & Heater to maintain water temperature
• Stream Bath (MTI) & DriftBath (Aquatic) - Gentle Current of Water
• Air Bathtub - Air blown into the tub for a soft tissue massage
• Micro Bubble (Hydro Systems) - Tiny bubbles provide skin conditioning
• Whirlpool - Water Jets provide a deep tissue massage

Why buy your bathtub from Tubz.com?

We are not just order takers in a call center. We are a small team that takes pride in our personal customer service and the expert knowledge we have accumulated in our 25+ years of experience. As you browse through these tubs and see list prices, these are not our sale prices. Most of the time our prices are too low to show (from a manufacturer's position). Email or call us to receive the same prices contractors do, up to 40% off! Plus the majority of our tubs are made right here in the US, and come with strong warranties. Let us help you find the bath of your dreams at a great sale price and with free shipping!

Drop-In vs. Undermount: Which Installation is Right for You?

While both styles allow for custom placement—whether in a corner, alcove, or island—the key difference is how the tub rim interacts with your bathroom deck.
Oval Drop-in Tub | MTI New Yorker 2
1. Drop-In Installation (Top Mount)
The Look: Traditional & Defined.
How it Works: The tub is "dropped" into a cutout in the deck. The rim of the bathtub sits on top of the tile or stone surface. This is the most common installation method and works with almost any deck material.

2. Undermount Installation
The Look: Modern & Seamless.
How it Works: The tub is mounted underneath the deck structure. The solid surface material (granite, marble, quartz) extends over the edge of the tub rim, creating a clean, continuous line from the deck into the bath well.
Pro Tip: Not all tubs can be undermounted. You must order a tub with a flat rim (no tile flange) to ensure a watertight seal against the stone.

What about Alcove Tubs?
Hydro Systems Lacey, Integral Skirt & Tile Flange
Unlike drop-in or undermount tubs which require a custom-built deck, an Alcove Tub comes with a built-in apron (skirt) and tile flange. It is designed specifically to slide into a three-wall recess and cannot be used as a drop-in.
